What is a Digipak?

A digipak is a CD casing that has the CD of the music artist and bonus tracks or backstage footage, digipaks has been around since the 70's but only recently been used more often in the year 2000, the main aspect of a digipak is that there are bonus items for the consumer who has bought the digipak, this may include posters of the band, autographs from the artists, lyric books of their songs and of course the CD itself.
